About Pikavexa

We're rebuilding how people prove they can do the work.

Pikavexa exists because the gap between "having skills" and "being able to prove them" is breaking the careers of millions of capable people — and quietly costing businesses the talent they actually need.

Mission & Vision
What we're building, and why.
Our mission
To give every person a real way to prove they can do the work, and every business a real way to discover them.

We exist to close the gap between capability and credential. Between what someone can do and what they can show. Between the talent the world is missing and the talent that's been here all along.

Our vision
A world where opportunity is unlocked by what you can build, not who you know.

The CV, the school name, the right contacts — these have decided too many careers for too long. We're building toward a world where the work itself is the gatekeeper, and where everyone, regardless of background, gets a fair chance to prove what they can do.

The Story
Why we're building this.

Look at almost anyone trying to break into a new field today and you'll see the same pattern: they're skilled, they're motivated, they've done the courses, they've watched the tutorials — and they still can't get hired. Not because they can't do the work. Because they have no way to prove it.

Meanwhile, businesses keep filtering candidates by university name and prior job titles, missing the people who would actually be brilliant in the role.

The CV was invented in a different century. The hiring process around it has barely evolved. We've all just accepted that the system is broken — that some people get the chance and others don't, and that's just how it works.

We don't accept that.

Pikavexa is being built because the next generation of talent deserves a real way to prove themselves through work. And businesses deserve a real way to discover them — not through credentials, but through what they can actually do.

What We Believe
Four things we hold true.
01
The work speaks louder than the CV.
A finished project tells you more about someone's ability than three rounds of interviews. We're building a platform where the work is the signal.
02
Talent is everywhere. Opportunity isn't.
Skill doesn't care about postcode, passport, or previous job titles. Hiring should reward what you can build, not where you went to school.
03
Real experience requires real stakes.
You can't gain real-world experience through fake projects. Pikavexa is built around live work for real businesses, because that's the only kind of experience that actually counts.
04
Trust has to be earned, not certified.
Anyone can issue a certificate. What matters is who reviewed your work, what they thought of it, and whether someone with relevant experience signed off on it. That's the trust we're building.
Who We're For
Built for the people the system overlooks.
If that's you, Pikavexa is for you.
Our Approach
Three principles guide every decision we make.
Real work over busywork.
Every project on Pikavexa solves a real business problem. No simulations, no toy datasets, no manufactured exercises. If a deliverable wouldn't be useful to a real company, it doesn't belong on the platform.
Discoverability over gatekeeping.
We don't lock talent behind a paywall for businesses to access. Profiles are public. Work is verifiable. Anyone can find anyone.
Honest standards over hype.
We won't tell you Pikavexa guarantees you a job. What we will do is give you a structured way to gain experience that's genuinely worth something, and trust you to do the rest.
The Team
Built by people who've been on both sides.
Pikavexa is being built by a small founding team. We're a small team, and we're hiring slowly. If you care about this problem and want to help us build, we'd love to hear from you.

Founder — Pikavexa
A London-based founder who watched too many talented people get filtered out of jobs they were perfect for. Building Pikavexa to fix that.
